NEW law to reduce head injuries

Ontario has passed a new law that protects amateur athletes and educates coaches on the dangers of head injuries. The law requires that players suspected of having a concussion be taken out of a game. The law also requires that coaches and teachers review online learning material to help them identify and manage concussions, and to help minimize concussions, a code of conduct for players will be required.
