National Recruiter and Coordinator from Circles Canada in Sudbury

Gayle Montgomery is the Circles Canada National Recruiter and Coordinator for the County of Lambton Social Services Division. Circles is a hands-on community strategy that helps hard working people transition out of poverty.

In February 2018, the Circles program was officially launched in Sudbury with the support of a Local Poverty Reduction Fund grant. This work is being led by Public Health Sudbury & Districts in partnership with the Partners to end Poverty, a steering committee made up of local agencies with a passion and commitment to poverty reduction from across Greater Sudbury.

Circles is a poverty reduction program. The goals of Circles are to:
• Build relationships among community members across all income levels to improve the lives of people living in poverty.
• Support individuals and their families as they work through their personal action plan to exit poverty.
• Work with participants, volunteers and community partners to identify and address key barriers that keep people in poverty.
• Create positive change in the community to improve opportunities for everyone to do well.

For more information or to schedule an interview with Gayle Montgomery, call 705.522.9200, ext. 498, or email Visit for more information about Circles.
