Service Description: Provides support, information and assistance to those living with a brain injury and their families * services offered:
  • education and awareness to the community about the effects of ABI and strategies for prevention
  • participates with Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) on provincial education and awareness campaign
  • offers peer support mentoring program to people living with a brain injury - connects persons with lived experience with an individual who is living with the effects of acquired brain injury and who requires support * available to survivors, their family members and or unpaid caregivers

Meeting:
  • survivor support group meeting: 3rd Thu of the month from 1pm-2pm at 101 Worthingston St E, Suite 23
  • no meetings in Jul and Aug
  • caregiver support group currently not running - can start at any time if numbers warrant it
  • Fees: Dual Memberships available through OBIA / BIANBA
