Regular Full-Time Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources, the Recruitment and Volunteer Services Coordinator will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of staff and volunteers, including forecasting and demonstrating needs of the Health Centre by providing statistics and reports. The successful candidate will ensure timely sourcing and hiring of quality candidates through innovative and cost-effective recruitment strategies.

This is a Non-Union position. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

• College Diploma, or University Degree in Human Resources
• Minimum three years’ experience in Human Resources and Recruitment
• Experience in a unionized hospital environment would be considered an asset
• Working towards or possession of Certified Human Resources Professional designation
• Good judgement, ability to work under pressure and can handle a fast-paced role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to discuss a variety of job- related topics, ability to respond to difficult questions, and the ability to speak and interact with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds
• Ability to retrieve and manipulate data, and prepare database reports
• Thorough knowledge of Human Resources principals and programs with an emphasis on recruitment and selection
• Skill in writing concise, logical, grammatically correct correspondences and reports
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of the West Parry Sound Health Centre:

Salary:  To be negotiated

Terms of Employment:  Full-Time
