Service Description: Provides support, information and assistance to those living with an acquired brain injury and their families * services offered:
  • education and awareness to the community about the effects of ABI and strategies for prevention
  • education and awareness about financial abuse in vulnerable populations
  • assistance and teaching on how to use technology to improve day to day functioning and reduce isolation
  • participates with Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) on provincial education and awareness campaign
  • offers peer support program to people living with an acquired brain injury - connects persons with lived experience with an individual who is living with the effects of acquired brain injury and who requires support * available to survivors, their family members and or unpaid caregivers

Fees: Dual Memberships available through OBIA / BIANBA
Application: No referral required
Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury and family
