Service Description: Provides resources and advocacy support to parents of children and youth with learning disabilities and ADHD

Provides one on one meetings with a Resource Facilitator who is acredited by the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario

Attends school meetings at the parent's request

Offers assistance in Parent's understanding of their child's IEP Individual Education Plan

Offers awareness presentations in schools, for parents and the community at large

Offers assitive technology training to students, parents and educators

Meetings: Board of Directors meet monthly on the third Wednesday of each month except for July and August
Fees: Free
Application: no referral required
Eligibility / Target Population: Parents of children and youth with or suspected of having a learning disability and/or ADHD
Languages: English

Espanola, Greater Sudbury, and Manitoulin Island
