Service Description:

Crisis Beds are a residential service in Barrie, with 6 short-term beds available to accommodate those who are experiencing a mental health, psychosocial or addiction related crisis
Services available:
- 24hr staff support
- non-medical services
- respite
- medication support
- crisis prevention and stabilization
- safety planning
- coping strategies
- service navigation and coordination of ongoing support needs
- referrals to community services as required
- police and emergency services can access beds 24/7

Eligibility / Target Population:

Youth and Adults experiencing mental health, addiction, or psychosocial crisis * must be medically stable and not intoxicated
