Diabetes Education Programs - Sudbury–Manitoulin–Parry Sound

Diabetes education programs provide individuals with the tools, skills and confidence needed to properly self-manage their diabetes and enable them to live healthy lives. The diabetes education teams consist primarily of a registered nurse and a dietitian who work with family physicians and diabetes care experts. People with diabetes are encouraged to take an active role in the day-to-day management of their own health care and can access one of Ontario's Diabetes Education Programs for assistance.

	Manitoulin Health Centre - Mindemoya - Diabetes Training and Care Centre English ; French French interpretation available upon request
	St Joseph's General Hospital Elliot Lake - Diabetes Education and Care Program English ; French Identified for the provision of French language services

These services are located outside of Sudbury–Manitoulin–Parry Sound, but provide service to Sudbury–Manitoulin–Parry Sound.
