Provides a variety of services and programs to individuals and families in need:
- short term financial assistance
- extended health benefits to qualifying individuals
- discretionary benefits
- drug benefits
- employment start-up costs
- provide one time full time start up benefits to full time, permanent employed individuals
- pay-direct to landlord
- special diets allowance
Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) - Monthly credit to help cover electricity bills, based on household income and the number of people living in the home * other levels of assistance may be available for Indigenous households, homes with medical equipment that have high-energy needs, and homes heated through electricity * call or visit OntarioElectricitySupport.ca to apply online
